Barnali Ghosh is a designer, climate justice advocate, and founder of the award-winning Berkeley South Asian Radical History Walking Tour.

​

“During the COVID19 lockdown, some people started baking bread. I started dressing up like the flowers I found on my walks in Berkeley. These self-portraits honor California native flowers using sari fabrics and Odissi dance from South Asia. This project has helped me bridge home and homeland, and find joy, connection, and healing during these pandemic times.”
