A note from Farrol:

​

The BURNT exhibition showcases remnants of my studio that burnt to the ground in the 2008 Indians Fire/Basin Fire (Ventana Wilderness, Monterey County). Everything was reduced to ashes. My studio now lies beneath the trees near the water, aligned with the cardinal directions. The fire torched the walls and roof. These photographs are not digitally enhanced.
