Julie Ann is a local Berkeley artist who finds inspiration in nature especially animals and birds. Her artwork ranges from intricate mandalas, to pet portraits and still life. Recently chickens and roosters have become her favorite thing to paint. Chickens have such fun expressions and fancy feathered hair doos. One of her favorite pets was a chicken named, Ping. Ping would come in the house and play as if she was a dog. In this tiny art show, Julie Ann invites you to look into the souls of these chickens. They have a lot to say.
