We are so honored to welcome to Art & Lit’s tiny BIG SCREEN some wonderful films!

 

These short films by students in Berkeley City College’s Multimedia Arts department all depict positive ways of engaging local communities – fighting wildfires in California, getting an education during the pandemic, life in the East Bay and making art and films.

 

Get Out the Vote videos were created by BCC students on behalf of The League of Women Voters & The Campus Vote Project.

 

Often called one of the “Best Kept Secrets in the Bay,” Berkeley City College offers a topnotch and affordable education in media. Many students have won Emmy Awards and Scholarships, including these filmmakers screening at the Art & Lit Theatre:  Ido Bartana, Zoe Rosenblum and Sabereh Kashi.

 

The Multimedia Department offers courses and degrees in Filmmaking, Social Media, Sound Design, Photography, Digital Imaging, Animation and Mobile/Web .
